Where Have All The Mazda’s Gone?
Don’t worry, Mazda is still making automobiles, but ever since the financial crisis hit car maker we haven’t heard much from Japan’s company. This time last year we were up to our hips in cool, futuristic Mazda Concept models like Kiyora and MAZDA1. These days you don’t hear much coming from Mazda’s R&D department – and we blame the economy.
Mazda vehicles are still selling, and with news that Mazda’s new Axela (the Mazda3 here in America) is selling well in Japan – as it surely will in North America. We hope to find more concept models as the year progresses – but with car makers cutting funds at every end no one may hear about them.
